TAG FOOTBALL
ONE SYSTEM. ONE STANDARD.
TAG Football is the new football lane inside TAG Training Ground, built and directed by former SEC linebacker and Certified Sports Performance Coach Terrell “TC” Collins to give football families a clear, honest, college-aligned path.
The journey that built TAG Football.
TAG Football wasn’t created in a meeting room — it was born out of a linebacker’s reality. Coach Terrell “TC” Collins went from All-State in St. Louis, to a torn ACL in his final high school game, to fighting his way back onto the field and into the SEC.
After playing at Iowa Western and then the University of Arkansas, Terrell transferred to Texas A&M Commerce, helping lead a playoff run that finished one game short of a National Championship and earning All-Conference honors as a leader on and off the field.
In 2019, he entered the NFL Draft and earned tryout opportunities with three NFL organizations and one CFL team before retiring from professional football in 2022. In 2023, he turned that experience into a training platform that has already developed over 100 athletes, 35 champions, and 7 Division I scholarship players.
TAG Football is the next step: a dedicated football lane where that journey, standard, and mindset are built into the system from day one.
Hello, my name is Terrell Collins, better known as Coach TC.
I’m originally from St. Louis, Missouri, where I was an All-State and All-Conference linebacker at Hazelwood Central. After tearing my ACL in my final high school game, I refused to let that setback define me. I battled back, earned a spot at Iowa Western Community College, and from there secured the opportunity to play in the SEC at the University of Arkansas as a Razorback.
I later transferred to Texas A&M Commerce, where I helped lead a playoff run that came one game short of a National Championship, earning All-Conference honors and establishing myself as a leader on and off the field.
In 2019, I entered the NFL Draft and earned tryout opportunities with three NFL organizations and one CFL team before retiring from professional football in 2022 and stepping fully into athlete development.
Since launching my training platform in 2023, I’ve trained over 100 young athletes, producing 35 champions and 7 Division I scholarship athletes.
- Linebacker and defensive development
- Strength and conditioning
- Speed, agility, and explosive movement
- Position-specific technique and football IQ
My mission is simple: build athletes who dominate on the field and grow as leaders off it. Through a detailed, results-driven training system, I help athletes unlock their full potential mentally, physically, and fundamentally inside the TAG Football lane.
Football development is fragmented. TAG Football turns it into a system.
The problem: most football development is random. One speed coach here, a skills guy there,
a random lift in a crowded weight room — no long-term plan, no shared language, and no real accountability.
Parents chase sessions, not development. Athletes collect camp shirts, not standards.
The TAG Football solution: bring everything under one roof and one standard. TAG Football
runs on the same DNA as TAG Training Ground and is informed by real conversations with Division I staffs and NFL
organizations — so what we do in Melissa actually matches what those rooms demand.
Strength, speed, movement, and position work live in one plan. No more stitching together random sessions and hoping it adds up.
Athletes know what’s expected. Parents get clear communication on effort, fit, and progress — not vague social-media hype.
TAG maintains a direct network with Division I NCAA programs and NFL organizations. Our expectations, language, and standards mirror what those staffs actually use in their rooms.
The TAG Football program: choose the lane that fits right now.
Every athlete enters TAG Football at a different point. These tiers match intensity, access, and investment with where they are today — while keeping them inside the same TAG standards as they move toward varsity, college, and beyond.

How we train football athletes inside TAG.
TAG Football doesn’t guess. We use the same performance backbone across TAG — then tailor it to the demands of football. Every session is built to help athletes move like football players, think like leaders, and hold themselves to a standard that will translate into varsity and college rooms.
What every football session is built on.
- Movement: acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, and contact prep.
- Strength: lower-body power, upper-body strength, and trunk stability.
- Speed: short-area burst, pursuit speed, and real play-speed under fatigue.
- Mindset: presence, response to coaching, and how you carry yourself.
In-season vs. off-season.
- Off-season: build the engine — strength, speed, and capacity go up.
- Pre-season: sharpen movement, position demands, and resilience.
- In-season: stay sharp and durable without adding unnecessary fatigue.
- Sessions are adjusted around school ball, 7v7, and TAG commitments.
What we expect from TAG Football athletes.
- Show up on time, ready to work — not to be entertained.
- Carry yourself like someone who wants to be recruited.
- Compete with the guys next to you, not against them.
- Be honest about your goals — and match your habits to them.
