TAG Performance  /  Now training ARETE Volleyball

Sport develops the game. Performance develops the athlete.

Strength, speed, power, movement, mobility and durability, developed deliberately rather than assumed. TAG Performance serves athletes inside our programs and athletes whose sport happens somewhere else. You do not have to play for us to train with us.

ARETE Volleyball × TAG Performance

Where ARETE athletes train.

From November through April, ARETE Volleyball athletes train with TAG Performance at The Gym in McKinney. Every session is built around what volleyball demands: jumping, landing, moving fast in short spaces and staying healthy through a long season.

01Jump & land

Vertical power for attacking and blocking, and safe landing mechanics that protect knees and ankles.

02Speed & agility

First-step quickness, lateral movement and the footwork to reach every ball.

03Shoulder health

Strength and durability for serving and attacking, rep after rep.

04Strength & core

Force built progressively and transferred from the floor to the ball.

05Injury prevention

Knee, ankle and back resilience, so athletes stay available all season.

06Testing

Jump and force measured at the start and re-tested through the season, so progress is visible.

How it works

Measured. Planned. Repeated.

  1. Assess

Test where the athlete is today and talk through goals, sport and history.

  2. Plan

Build a program around the athlete’s season, schedule and priorities.

  3. Train

Coached sessions, one-on-one or in small groups, with every rep supervised.

  4. Re-test

Measure progress, adjust the plan and set the next target.
